I think a guinea pig might be alittle less work than a rabbit and cheaper. You may want to also consider guinea pigs live for about 4-6 yrs. and rabbits( especially female rabbits) can live for 10-15 yrs. or more if they are fixed. If they aren't fixed it's a high chance that she will get cancer. Both of them also need alot of out of cage time to keep them happy too. Good Luck! I'm happy for you. They are alot of fun, but be careful and always supervise the dog,cat and lil' sis cause they could seriously hurt the guinea pig(s). and give them a hidey place so if they get too scared they can hide.

guinea pig They are adorable buy very fragile They are soft and so easy to cuddle with , But its your choice!
rabbits. They are so cute and my BF just got one. She aid that hey are very loving and they are really fun.
