Do not take it to a vet - vets are for pets, and most do not have the expertise to care for wild animals, nor do they have the necessary licenses to keep a recouperating wild animal - and neither do you.

Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. You can find one here: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.鈥?/a>

They have the specialized training to care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. They also have the necessary state and federal licenses required to keep wild animals, even for a short time, until they are healthy enough to be released back into the wild.

The best website for info on orphaned bunnies is: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/orpha鈥?/a>

It states: ';Many people mean well when they contact HRS after discovering an ';abandoned'; nest of wild rabbits. Often they wish to ';rehabilitate'; them with some advice from others. The reality is fewer than 10% of orphaned rabbits survive a week, and the care that people attempt to provide can be illegal, unnecessary, and potentially harmful. The best thing you can do is put the bunny right back where you found him, in the general area, as the Mom will only come back at night to call and find him. Leave the area. If injured, please contact a Wildlife Rehabilitator or rabbit vet immediately.';We just found a little rabbit , wut do we feed it?

If the rabbit is indeed a baby scroll down to the bottom of this link and it shows what formula to feed it.

As for the broken leg, you should take it to a vet. Like Margecutter said, you should see if the mother returns for it. I would reccomend checking up on it instead of just leaving it there to die if the mother doesn't return. If she doesn't return try taking it to a wildlife/rabbit sanctuary in the area, just search one up on the net. I had a similar situation happen with a baby bird and a broken leg actually and I took it to a bird sanctuary. Finding a bunny specialist is hard but if you can that's great otherwise take it to the vet, it's better than nothing. However I don't reccomend you actually let them take the bunny from you.
Well, hopefully you plan on taking it to the vet!!!!!!!!!! In the meantime I would try rabbit food, you can get that at any petstore or even wal-mart. If you wanna try lettuce and or carrots you can do that too.
