How do i get the rabbit to follow me when its on its lead?

They won't. The lead is for safety out of doors, so it can't run off and get eaten. I've had lots of bunnies, and none could be 'walked' like a dog can. They're quite smart, but also prey animals, yielding to pressure from a lead or following a huge animal (you) is unnatural for them.How do i get the rabbit to follow me when its on its lead?
That's pretty hard. I owned 68, yes, 68, bunnies in my lifetime. I bought them harnesses, but was never successful in having them follow my lead. After a while, I just gave up on that and bought a large play pen for them to frollic in the backyard. Your rabbits may be different, so try a bribe.How do i get the rabbit to follow me when its on its lead?
about 10 days... keep them at it, on a regular schedule for 10 days, leading them, try around the house for a while. they learn fast (rabbits are far from stupid or slow, prey animals learn quick or die) but they need to know this is right, they don't learn bad or good, they learn interrupted and praised, they chew on a broom bother them when ever they do it, give them something else or just take it away and pet behind their ears. they will start to learn that if i chew on this i get petted, if i chew this it is taken away. they will get irritated and stop chewing on the broom and start chewing of something else ( cardboard box, wooden toy etc.)





they only way they learn is by doing it, buy one of those dog clickers, this will get their attention i am sure, but be sure you can keep him safe if some decides 'dinner!' or else you will loose a little friend or worse.
Rabbits just aren't that intelligent. They are not dogs. You may never be able to get your rabbit to do this. Keep trying though, you never know.
First you have to think like the rabbit. The next step is to mate with it. It will follow you then.

rabbits are slow
there not meant to follow you like a dog, the lead is just for safe exercise
