My rabbit is outside a lot and I'm veryexperiencedd with them, but I don't know how to clean him because he's got mud on his feet and legs and hes got big blobs of mud on his tail, i wanna wash him and i have shampooo for rabbits but i don't no how to and always feel sick when i doHow can i clean my rabbit?
get one of those new borne baby baths fill it with WARM water and just add rabbit shampoo etc and soak him in it till he is nice and clean you're just going to have to grin and bare it when it comes to making you feel sick. How can i clean my rabbit?
I only recommend doing this if it is absolutely necessary. Put just enough warm water in the tub for the rabbit to wade around in. If he is willing let him walk around in it until most of the mud is off then take a washcloth and try to get the rest off. If he is not willing to get in the water then you need to find a different way to not cause him unneeded stress.
Take a big bowl (big enough for ur rabbit ) And fill it with lukewarm water and AFTER the water put in the shampoo. Then place the bunny in there and carefully scrub the mud off him. After that dry ur rabbit in a towel ( no hairdryer!!!!)
To avoid washing him too often you could keep him inside when it's muddy...
fill the bath with warm water
put some shampoo in there
put him in. reassure him hes safe
he should be fine just wash and rinse =/
I was always told just to take a wash cloth with warmish water and whipe them off with that.
Please DON'T WASH THE WHOLE RABBIT! Just carefully wash the parts that are dirtied.
use a dry rabbit brush for it once it is dry simple and easy.
I have the same problem i use bunny wipes
open him up remove intestines skin him and wash him under the tap
It's cruel keeping a rabbit if you can't look after it...give the rabbit to someone who can take care of him properly.
HOSE HIM!
