2 year old and a rabbit and a pink crayon?

I have a 2 year old and for the past couple of months she thinks everything is a rabbit and when you get on to her to she says OK rabbit. What does she mean by this and why does she think this? Also when she colors it is all the color pink. What does this mean? She was 1 when she was taken from her mom and famly has had her since. She has had a very hard life.2 year old and a rabbit and a pink crayon?
As long as she is happy and developmentally ok. It sounds like a normal 2 year old. It could be a defense mechanism but I don't fully know the situation and I am not a doctor.2 year old and a rabbit and a pink crayon?
Ah, she likes me, and she likes pink. What's so hard to figure?

You say, ';She has had a very hard life,'; so rabbits are soft and safe to her. She likes pink, so it too is something soft and comfortable.

She will find other things and colors in time. As for now, if you see a white plush toy rabbit with a pink ribbon around its neck in the store, you buy it. Give her time, give her comfort, give her love. She will expand her world when she is ready.
