Has anybody ever preserved the skin of a rabbit. What did you use?

Is this illegal in the uk nowadaysHas anybody ever preserved the skin of a rabbit. What did you use?
Yes. Borax. If you want the skin to remain pliable, you have to tan it though. If memory server, this can be done with a tanning solution of 1 gal. (U.S.) of water, 1 lb table salt, and 1 1/2 oz hydrochloric acid. This will retain the hair, more or less. Rabbit is a very poorly wearing fur, lasting about 1/10 as long as otter (the standard)..Has anybody ever preserved the skin of a rabbit. What did you use?
WHY WOULD YOU PUT THIS IN PETS?!?
why would you want to even if it is legal

you are cruel
As far as legality goes. IF it is leagal for you to kill it, it is legal for you to do as you wish with it.
