How do you de-flee a rabbit??

Is there like a bunnie wash that I can give her a bath in to kill any flee's that she may have??

Or could I use cat wash or something of the like???How do you de-flee a rabbit??
buy a flea comb for 4 bucks and comb your bunny(any fleas will be caught in the comb)...she probably doesn't have fleas, just normal grooming...do you observe any flea dirt in her coat?

Flea dirt looks like black dirt, but is hard...part her hair to the skin, an see if there are any signs of this.

good luck

IF she has fleas...ask the vet, who will probably recommend a mild soap only. How do you de-flee a rabbit??
HI, first of all....beware of a product called ';Frontline';!!!! DEADLY to rabbits-do not use!

I would go to the vet, and have them check rabbit. (make sure it is a rabbit savvy vet; I have heard of vet using frontline on rabbit and killing them, too!)

A product that is safe : Advantage or Revolution ( for your rabbit. You want to buy the kind for

kittens (under 9 lbs) and on the average rabbit 1/2 tube (2 drops)

does the trick. I would still go to the vet, though. I just dont trust self medicating.
Have your vet give it a shot of ivermectin. It will take care of any flees or other parasites for at least a month.
I'm not entirely sure, but be VERY careful. A lot of flea products safe for dogs and cats can be DEADLY to rabbits (I know Frontline is deadly for sure)... also, store bought stuff is typically more risky that something you'd get at you vet's.

Rabbits don't get fleas very often, are you sure she has them?

Hope this helps :)
