How do you punish a rabbit for peeing on things?

I have a year and half old chocolate dutch, everytime he jumps on my bed he pees. i don't flick him on his nose or touch him. instead i put him in his cage. but i'm not sure if it's helping....

any ideas???????How do you punish a rabbit for peeing on things?
Rabbits are NOT rodents. The best thing to do is spray your bed with some form of perfume or febreeze. I use febreeze because it's been proven to be ';rabbit friendly';. It will make your bed no longer smell like him, and he will no longer pee there. Another thought would be if he isn't neutered, get him (if you aren't planning to breed). This helps with the whole spraying process when rabbits pee. Also, you can spray water on a rabbit when he does something wrong. I usually spray mine when he begins to bite people and ';no'; firmly. Try not to scare the rabbit though because this will cause him to lose trust in you.How do you punish a rabbit for peeing on things?
The simple answer would be to not let him jump on your bed, but I had a rabbit when I was younger and I wanted to carry him with me everywhere so I understand. If you know he'll be in your room and on your bed just put some newspaper down. Punishment really doesn't apply to rabbits.

If he is particularly smart and enjoys your company, perhaps he will associate the peeing on the bed with being put away in his cage and stop.
Make hasenpfeffer. A rodent - which is what a rabbit is - is exceptionally hard to break of such habits. Your only other option besides that delicious dish is to keep the critter in it's cage and get a dog or a cat for a house pet. Those, you can teach to use a litter pan or ask to go outside.
First of all, to punish a rabbit never ever hit him, you could spray him a little on the nose with water.

Second of all, a bunny is a lagomorph not a rodent.
i was wondering how to ounish my cat for that he keeps peeing in the fish tank even though he is trained...but he ran away last night...so now i don't have to ounish him for anyhitng i just want him to come back....:(
You should not punish animals. It is natural. Give it something else to pee in. If that doesn't work cover the bed with litter trays .
you can try use a squirt bottle and squirting him with with it when ever he does or they sell the same thing but it smells sick
They can't help it. if there is nowhere to go they will go where ever.
just don't let him on the bed. why would you want a rabbit in your bed anyways?
