There aren't a lot of places in my area and make it harder to find a place that can take care of her.I have a pet rabbit that I can't keep any longer and don't know where i could take it or give it away.
I work for a very large shelter, there is never enough room for all the dumps. If you put out signs, free to good owner, it will end up as snake food, or people food, dog training material, and every once and awhile, might fall into somebodies hands that knows what to do right to rabbit. Instead of dumping, have you thought about learning more about rabbits, and maybe work out a scenario that allows you to keep the bun? Most bunnies are very frightened and sad and miss their owners terribly when they get dumped. Do not kid yourself, this often ends up in rabbit death, and even if rabbit lives, many times they will miss you something awful.

Make a poster with a picture of her on it that say ';Free to good home only'; and put it up around town, and put the add in a newspaper or Trader's Guide. Make it say ';Free to Good home ONLY'; also. That would be nice if you said that because I love animals and even though I don't own it I wouldn't want anyone mean to take her.
Try a local pet store like Petco or Petsmart...they often take in rabbits. You can also try the local animal shelter or rescue organizations. Also if none of those work out...put an ad in your newspaper. Some people say you should put in a small adoption fee just to make sure the rabbit goes to a great home. Make sure sure she does get a great home! Hope this helps...if all else fails, put an ad up on petfinder.com
You can list animals there that are in need of homes.
Give it to an animal shelter. If you decide to give it to a person make sure they are good because some people take bunny's for little or no cost and sell them to companies that test on animals so they will die a slow painful death.
Check Petfinder.com to see if there are local rabbit rescues.
You can post an ad on Craigslist.org to say a rabbit is in need of a good home, 'not for food' and ask lots of questions before giving your rabbit to someone.
You should give it to Animals in disstress. its a no kill shelter and one of the best in the country. They do backround checks for people who want to adopt them. So go to animalsindisstress.com i think its called.
Ask around. Family friends ect. Put an ad in the local paper. Or go to a farm near by ( depdning on where u are) and see if they would like it.
eat it. rabbits taste great but u cant get much meat off of them. it should be a great meal for u alone and that way u guys will be together forever. sort of.
hi you could try ur local vet or if you know someone that wants a pet and would really look after it that would be a good place to start
Did you try the SPCA?

I gave my rabbit to a pet store for free.
